THE ENGINEERS' WIVES CLUB OF POLK COUNTY, FLORIDA
NEW MEMBERS
The
Engineers' Wives Club is always looking for new members with like interests to
join our organization. According to our By-Laws, the Engineers' Wives Club
shall be composed of wives, widows, or divorcees of men who hold a baccalaureate
or more advanced degree in engineering, or a closely related scientific
discipline. Prospective members must attend at least one club
function during the preceding or current club year as guests of club members
prior to application. The name of a candidate for membership shall be
submitted to the Membership Chairman by written endorsement of three active
members, one a sponsor, and two co-sponsors. After verification of eligibility
the candidate will be sent a written invitation to membership.
