The Engineers' Wives Club of Polk County supports a scholarship program for deserving engineering students from Polk County. Our club sets aside forty percent of EWC dues for this philanthropic endeavor. Our club works closely with the University of South Florida Polytechnic at the Polk County Campus to offer monetary help to selected engineering students each year. During the last 50 years of the EWC's existence, we have contributed nearly one hundred thousand dollars to help educate Polk County students in the various engineering fields.
